You're not good enough

Much of our internal process is determining and judging whether or not we are good enough in the eyes of another person. It’s true. You are not good enough.

You are not good enough...

When they judge you

When they criticize your appearance

When they compare their income to yours

When they find fault in the way you view the world

When they censor your conversations, telling you not to speak unless it is of value

When they condemn you for your human mistakes

When they find fault in anything you do or don’t do

When they attack you instead of taking accountability for their actions

When they disapprove of your friends

You are not good enough to be their mental, emotional, and physical punching bag.

You are not good enough to save them from themselves.

We are not good enough in their eyes.

Their eyes are not good enough to be the one to determine our value.

We are better than, and we deserve better than.
